ON THE ROAD AGAIN.......

......we leave tomorrow around noon to go back to KS. The boys and I will be at my parents house for most of the month of December.
The first weekend that we are there we are all going to go to Greensburg and visit some friends and Cody has talked me into going hunting with him while we are there. Please pray for my toes and fingers;that they dont freeze and fall off while I am there-haha!!!
Although we had SNOW here this morning for a short period of time I am sure that
it is nothing compared to what we are going to see while
we are there. Maybe the boys will be able to make
Snow Angels.
XOXO

Black Friday

Most people were out shopping while I was still asleep. That is until my sister called me wanting to know if the boys had this movie or that movie at 7AM! Of course I couldn't sleep after that. Colton and I got up and had breakfast and played then I was off to get ready for my day.
I spent the day at Anthologies at the 12 hour Black Friday Crop from
noon to midnight. I sat next to Marylee and had great fun. I started my Christmas cards, have
them designed and the cuts made, then I moved onto finishing one of
Sonya's Christmas gifts and finally got that completed-She BETTER like
it!! Then the rest of the evening was spent making Thank YOu cards and
filling those out to send out. I really should have gotten more done but it was
just GREAT fun to spend time with the girls and to be around
such creative girls.
Thanks to Nita & Tom and the rest of the gang for a WOnderful evening!
Wish I was there for the 12 hours of fun-filled time tonight too!!

than half of his smash cake before I noticed and had
to take it away from him-haha!

WhoooWhooo...

This is his home for now. It is right outside the laundry/dog room. She just sits up there
and is soooo precious. She goes down into the post when you let the dogs
out.
She is a Pygmy owl. Sue looked it up online. This is the 2nd year that she has found
this as her home.

What a magnificent site! Isn't she beautiful?!?!

Anthologies

Finally!! Anthologies has opened. My parents and sis came in town Thursday evening so that Sonya and I could be there when they opened the doors for the 1st time Friday morning. It was wonderful! A place to shop, crop & create with all the familar and friendly faces. I thought that it was never going to get here and then there it was. Sonya & I cropped on both Friday & Saturday night. Boy was I tired. I only completed 1 of the 2 Halloween mini books that I had taken. Did 2 layouts also. I won 1 door prize. Wishing only that I had won the BoBunny fabulous pink bag. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to all the ladies who made this possible.

Busy Busy

The last couple of weeks have been busy. Last week Cayden had a speech appointment,
I had a hair appointment, had to get the house ready for company-SIL
LaDessa was coming for the weekend, had to get ready to go out of town on my
retreat which also consisted of getting together my scrap stuff and I never like
doing that. I am sooooo ready to get that room in order!!! Well wouldn't you know it, just
as I am needing to finish the laundry the washer craps out on me!! It ended up being 2 separate
problems and not worth fixing. It was only 5 maybe 6 years old. They just dont make things
to last anymore. Well being me, this meant that I had to get a washer & dryer set or else they
wouldn't match. Cody was working nights and sleeping days so we didn't have time to start the search before I went out of town Friday morning. LaDessa arrived Thursday night, thanks to her for driving 5+ hours to help Cody with the boys. Went to Stolen Moments Inn through
Sunday afternoon. I got home around 530-6 and before I could even pull in the drive Cody and the boys were outside ready to go start the search. We ended up at Lowe's Monday and Heather helped us pick out a beautiful washer & dryer set. They were delivered on Tuesday morning and so the laundry began.
That evening Cody had to worked and Colton was on the fussy side. He started running a temp before bed and didn't sleep much that night. By 7am his temp had reach over 103. Needless to say I got worried. He was lifeless, red, burning up, heavy breathing. Poor little guy. He didn't even have the energy to walk or even crawl. You know it's bad if Cody stayed up-which he did. When the nurses' line finally called me back his temp had went down some and she suggested we wait to call in the dr office when they opened. That wasn't until 830 and then I couldn't get through then they couldn't see him till 415 so I left a message for the nurse and she got us in at 930. the test came back negative for flu & streep so dr said he
just had a viral infection. Tylenol every 4 hours, like I had been doing. He woke up by 1030p last night and I ended up putting him in bed with me for the night. he is sooooo much better today, a little diarrhea but otherwise walking all over, playing and happy. THank goodness my little guy is better and praying that he continues to improve.
Now to catch up on the normal every day stuff...laundry, dishes, cleaning.
The joys of life!

Isn't he cute?!?! He sooo desperately wants Daisy Mae to sit with him but she just doesn't want anything to do with that. I can't blame her, her LUVS her a little to ruff. He pulls on her legs to get her to move where he wants her to, pulls on her hair, the typical things. I think?!?
He was soooo happy that she sat with him to watch Blues Clues. She was such
a good girl. It lasted maybe 10 minutes and it was over. He cried wanting her to come
back but she chose to sit on the back porch instead. ha!
I love it when my boys make each other laugh. They had been playing together all day, some
good, some bad. But they were in the LR wrestling around and had gotten
so tickled with each other. I ran and got my *new* camera, pulled the boys
together and luckly got a pic in before they were off to play again.
In case you can't read Cayden's shirt clearly it reads, "100% GOOD, 10% of the time"
This is sooooo true!! But the 10% of the time is soooo worth
it.

Anyone else?!?

I have been having a bad time lately. I am not sure what my deal is lately but I can not get out of this funk. It is like I am soooo tired of crying that I have turned into this blah, negative, sad, miserable thing. I hate it but I don't know how to make it stop. I try to put on a happy face
for the day but the smallest thing gets under my skin. Cody keeps asking me what's wrong, did
he do something, am I mad at him....I can't answer him. I don't know what to say. Yes, No, Not really, I don't know. It's not him, but it is. It is everything. But what do I do.
I am tired of not being a priority, in anyone's life, not even to me. My kids come first, then I
worry about my hubby. Why not me? What happened to me? It is like I have no friends, no life. I am alone, always alone. No one around to listen or to care. Every one is tooo busy. I mean I get it, the boys take A LOT of my time but come on.....am I REALLY that MEAN, that bitchy, that
horrible to be around?!? I know that I tend to be on the negative side, which I hate about my self and would LUV to change, but come on!!!
I feel lonely, alone, ugly, fat, a failure, friendless, loveless, horrible mother & rolemodel, emotionless, tired...soooo tired, useless..............I don't think that I need to go on. U get
the point. Nothing is right, all is wrong.
What am I supposed to say to try to explain something that I don't even know, it just is.
Thanks for listening even if it doesn't make sense. I'm not sure that I even get it.
I need.....hell if I knew what I needed I would get it!!!!

Prayers

As most of you know, on Friday one of our Best Friends,Matt, lost his GF unexpectedly. Today we went to the viewing and though I did not know her she was obviously loved by many. She started her career as a teacher in Keller and continued her education and received her masters and for the last 3 years was a school counselor in SL.
Matt & Melissa met in 2007 on eharmony. Though it was not a relationship that I truly understood it was 'their' relationship. And seeing my friend in pain, with suffering in his eyes, with unanswered questions kills me. Matt is such a wonderful, caring & giving guy that it seems sooo unfair. She was only 29 and to think that she was just here and now she is gone is still a hard concept for me to grasp. You just never know what is going to happen or when it might happen. So call the ones you love and say Hello, you might not get the chance later. Make time for that friend that you always say you are going to make time to see but something always comes up. Fold the laundry later and take an extra 5 minutes to play with your kids.l

GOD BLESS!!!

Thanks Jennifer! He loves to be able to draw and not get into trouble
when he goes off of the pad..hehe!
I love this thing. I NEVER look at toys n things,
cause my house is being over run with them so I enjoy such inventive gifts
as this. Not messy but yet VERY enjoyable.
Thanks Again!

Girlfriends Rock!!

The Girls
Me, Trisha & Lynn

Yesterday I met Lynn & Trisha for lunch to celebrate
my birthday....late yes but I was out of town(once again!).
We went to Cozumel's in Grapevine and can I just say it was FABuLOUS! We had Guacamole, which I could NOT stop eating-YUM! As Lynn & I were walking in we both thought that Margaritas sounded YUMO. We couldn't decide on which one we wanted and Lynn discovered the "sampler" It came with 5 samples of their different margaritas in this bridge type of thingy. They were soooo good!

Can I just say that them girls went overboard!!! OH MY!!!! Lynn made me several
gifts; desk organizer, lrg paper clip, mini-book and a beautiful card. She also bought
me a coffee stamp set, the most fabulous owl pillow...which Cayden confiscated
from me as soon as he saw it. Then Colton had to get his hands on it...later they were whining over it so I had to take it back for myself...darn! Trisha made me a HUGE
'S' covered in metal....I LUV! and soooo many other wonderful things.
Lots of goodies!
It is great to be surrounded by such wonderful
women. And to know that they luv me despite ALL of my
flaws just ROCKS and makes me feel good inside.

So thank you girls! I love you! And feel
so privileged to be friends with such
beautiful souls!

God Bless!

CONFESSION!!!

I have to confess......that I did not understand the 'obsession' of The Twilight Series in the beginning. My lil' sis saw Twilight in the theater and said how great n wonderful it was. I wasn't convinced but all the gals kept talkin bout it and i felt left out so I finally gave in. so when it came out on DVD I bought it, which for me is sooooo out of the ordinary. After watching it, I still didn't really get it. I thought that it was ok, but what was ALL the hype about? I wasn't sure. I guessed that I was to OLD for all all this. have never been much of a reader despite my desire to be. I was very impressed with myself to complete this series. I am holding twilight in my hands trying not to re-read them. I can not believe that my self. I am sooooo busy, I don't have time to re-read something!! But I cant help but keep WANTING to do so. I don't' necessary like them in real life like the rest of the world, but I never did fit in. But I am in LOVE with the LOVE, the love that they both have for Bella. I don't believe in "soul mates" but I am married to my BF. Which is Jacob in my eyes. I would love to believe in Edward but I just think that he is an self absorbed azz! I know that people are going to hate me for that.....oh well.
xoxoxo

TEAM JACOB.....

....in case anyone wondered!!!!!!!

Twilight Fan

I have been watching the new moon clips that I have found online tonight and more so than before I think that christine (sp) is messed up. She looks messed up. I dont know that is just my persection. I love all of the characters and cant wait for the new moon but she just seems messed up. is it just me? I am pretty judgemental for the most part but I dont think that i have this one wrong. I am feeling bad for her, i just want to hug her and make her better.

Boys on the farm

Thanks to Cody's dad for sharing these pictures with me.
I had asked them to try to take a picture of Colton inside the tractor
tire and they came through for me.
I am SOOO excited for these pictures.

I have a pic of Cayden in this same JD tractor tire when he was 'little' I can't wait to
compare the 2.

Cayden, with Nana Forrest, Bubba Colton, Laurence & Pauline. Thanks for sharing the outdoors with my boys. We love you!!!

Greensburg....

...that is where the boys r. They left yesterday evening with my MIL & FIL for the weekend. For those of u who know me know just how BIG of a step this is for me. My MIL said it right, one of the ladies at the shop couldn't believe that I was going to let them take the boys over night cause her DIL would NEVER allow that to happen. I told her that I hoped she realize just how big of a step this was for me. I am proud of myself, I haven't even called to check on them. I have thought about it several times but been to busy painting & stuff that I have been able to redirect my thoughts to something else. And when my heart starts beating faster, I just have to take a deep breath and try to stop myself from hyperventilating. It will be ok.....I WILL B OK!

The Proposal

My lil sis & I went to the movies last nite and watch The Proposal with Sandra Bullock. It was soooo funny I was cryin' I bout wet myself. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD so that I can watch it again. It was sooo nice to get out and be able to hang out with my sis. Though she is not very talkative these days....not sure why that is?!?! So to anyone who is ready for lots of laughs should go c this movie.

Potty Time

I almost forgot to share the good news!!!
We arrived in KS on Wens afternoon and out of the blue that evening Cayden requested to go sit on the potty(with his motioning & 'uh'uh' communication skills). This was no big deal to me as he wants to sit on the potty more often than not. My mom took him and I can hear her saying, "Good Boy!" I go runny back there and he is all smiles...he looks down at his 'noodle' grunts and tinkles again, says "Wow!" and does it again. I bet we went back to the potty 5 or 6x in a short amount of time and EVERY time he tinkled in the potty. I was so PROUD!
Of course my family thought that I MUST run to the store and buy pull ups for him. I think that jinks us....he hasn't done much since that night. Although the next morning when he woke up the first thing that he wanted to do was sit on the potty....nothing. And before we got in the shower he sat on the potty with only minimal results. Now he seems to have no interest in sitting on the potty no matter how interesting & fun I make it sound.
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

FaceBook

Ok.....so I FINALLY signed up on facebook. I have to be honest and say that I am not sure that I am that fond of it. I guess with time it will grow on me. It would probably help if I was online more so that I could keep up or fiqure out what was going on.
I finally got the blog stuff down and now it is facebook......I am never going to be able to keep up.
Maybe when the boys get bigger they can teach me all this stuff...hehe!!!

KS Trip

What was I thinking?! Traveling 5+ hours with 2 baby boys in the backseat....next to each other. Seemed like a good idea at the time. That was the LONGEST trip of my life! Cayden cried, no screamed, for the first 2 hrs.....nothing that I tried to offer him worked, I even pulled over to try to satisfy him...no go! During all this commotion, Colton was asleep within the first 20 mins of the trip. Finally Cayden calmed down and gave in to his sleepy eyes....just about to enjoy the peace & quiet.....then the crys began again only this time it was Colton, so much for Cayden sleeping! I let it go on for awhile then I finally pulled off onto the "scenic overlook", which by the way there was nothing scenic about it! Let Cayden out of his seat to stand awhile, made Colton a bottle. Standing there, sweating in the heat & the heat from the car, Colton not really drinking his bottle, Cayden still not satisfied. After 10 mins or so and neither one of them really appreciating the fact that I had pulled over and was pulling out ALL of the stops to please them I decided to give up and just drive with the music LOUD! I tried dancing & singing to make them happy but I guess that I am just not that entertaining. Finally they both passed out! YEAH!! Not for long though, Cayden would randomly wake up and cry until he fell back to sleep. OH MY! I have no idea what the deal was but I about lost my mind! I told Cody & Mom that I wasn't sure if I would b able to make the trip back home by myself without losing my mind........

Not even right......

...he is getting to be such a big boy! He sits up on his own, is ALL over the
place...he can crawl but prefers to army crawl much more.
We went to his 6 month checkup yesterday (over a month late--oops!) and
he weighs almost 20 pounds! That's my BIG boy! We keep
warning Cayden that he will soon pass him up and
that boy better watch out! HEHE!!!
Doc says that he is in the 90th percentile on his weight
& his length. I don't think that either one of my boys will have an issue with their
height...thx to their Daddy!

Doesn't that smile just make you want to eat him up!!!!
YUMYUM!!

My boy is almost 2!!!!
How time flys.

We had Cayden's Birthday party Saturday. It was a last minute decision & poor planning on my part. I even BOUGHT the invites! Cody's parents were going to be here for the races
& my parents were here to watch the boys so that my sis and I could attend the GASC so
I decided to go ahead and have his party a weekend early so that they
could both be here to celebrate with us.
I thought that it was a nice thought on my part. Then I had to
have it at 10am so that Lynn would be able to attend, she missed his 1st birthday, they had another bday party at noon. I think that everything went well. Even Cody's Uncle Kenny & Melissa were in town for the races so they
were able to join us.
Cayden LOVED all of his gifts! His Aunt Sonya got him a bubble machine, I got him a
lawn mower-boy he LOVES that thing!
I can't believe in only a few days it will be true, my boy WILL be 2!!!

OUCHY!!!

My poor boy seems to be sooo clumsy sometimes.
I guess that he gets that from me.
We went shopping yesterday and the boys missed their naps so they
were both fussy. We were finally finished getting all the bargains we could find
and were almost to the car when I heard it....the horrible noise from behind....I could hear him
hit the pavement. Colton & I were already at the car; Cayden & Nana were only a car or
2 away. Cayden fell, we still aren't sure if he tripped over something or just his own feet. I didn't see anything that he might have tripped over but I wasn't concerned with the ground at the moment. Nana picked him up and he was still silently
screaming, trying to catch his breath. He screamed out and wanted me and when
I took him he held on to my neck as tight as he could. I was trying to get him
to look at me so that I could see exactly how bad it was or if he was just exhausted.
When he lifted his head there was sooo much blood...it looked like it was everywhere!
His mouth was bleeding AND it looked like he had a nose bleed also!
Of course he wouldn't let me check it out so I just put a baby wipe & a burp
rag to try to stop the bleeding. I bet we sat on the back of the van for at least 45 minutes, calming him down and trying to check out the damage. Then, once the situation was under
control & my boy was ready to get on with something else, we had to sit there and let
me calm down. After I had done my motherly duty, taking care of my boy, I was sweating bullets, got a little dizzy, nausea, I felt like crying & passing out.
Cayden has had a bloody mouth before so it didn't seem to get to me at first. But when I looked over and saw the PILE of bloody wipes and the saturated burp rag I about lost it.
I am wimpy when it comes to blood.
I have to say, he is ALL boy!

As you can see, he is doing just fine now. He finally noticed his lip in the mirror this afternoon, looked at me, then the mirror, then me...touched his lip and said "WOW"
He has been eating and drinking like nothing is wrong. Every now & then he will touch it
and say "Ouch" after he takes a drink or a bite.
For the most part, I think that it is bothering me more than it is him.

1st Birthday Party

The 1st Birthday Party that Colton ever attended, he slept
through almost all of it.

Cayden loved every minute of it. He got to help Miss Emma Grace open
her presents & even play with almost all of them.
He had a blast!

Happy 1st Birthday Miss Emma Grace!!

Cards

These are the 2 Mothers Day cards & 1 thinking of you/get well card, for my uncle, that I made on NSD.
I used a card kit that came with my fabulous bag that came from QVC.

Twins

NOW-2009

Larry & Harry Tuten

THEN-1947
Harry & Larry Tuten
This is my daddy, Harry, and his twin brother Larry. They are STILL sooo much
a like. They talk alike, both have glasses, have the same gestures.
I remember last year when we visited, Cayden was barely 1, and when Larry
walked in the door, Cayden was SOOO confused; you could see it on
his face. It was the funniest thing.
He still gave him a funny look this time but got over it quickly.
It is nice to see family again.
And the country is GORGEOUS!

On the road again.....

Sorry that I have been missing in action. The boys & I made a road trip to KS again and now we are on the road to TENN with my parents. The drive has been great, it is sooo beautiful! I drove the first 5 hours and now my dad is in the drivers seat, the boys are sleeping and mom is reading.
We found out that my uncle has lung cancer on our trip home last year. He went through chemo & radiation but the cancer is already back. He is trying to make it through another round of chemo but they say that he is not doing very well at all. My parents were going to TENN so instead of the boys & I going home today like I had originally planned I decided that we should make a detour. I struggled with whether or not I should come along or not. My parents need a vacation, a break from EVERYTHING!! And in a car for 10+ hours with 2 BOYS STUCK in car seats just was NOT appealing to me. But I knew what I had to do, what was right. Plus I am always up for a TENN fix!! The accent, the friendly waves from passer bys, the food, the family, the scenery......
I will try to post more soon but we are going to boondocks so only time will tell...hehe!!
Keep my family & I in your prayers.
God Bless!

Cereal

This weekend Colton had his first taste of cereal. As you can see he wasn't much of a
fan. He enjoyed it much more the next day.
Not only is he rolling over both ways now but he is also rolling ALL around the lr floor. Now I can barely leave the room without him rolling into the tables or chairs and getting
terribly pissed off about it and making sure that everyone around knows it.
It won't be long before I will be chasing him & Cayden around.
I should probably start working out now....training now.....so that I can
be in shape to keep up-HA!

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

I am proud to hear that Lynn has kept the kitchen clean & up to par. I just hope that her and the rest of the family are able to keep it up on a regular basis.
I hate the reality that I have to unload the dishwasher EVERY morning while Cayden is eating his breakfast and the fact that there is never ending laundry but that is life, the life that I have chosen. I LOVE spending the day with my boys and knowing that they are NOT spending 8-12 hours a day in day care with someone else other than me. Are there times that I want to run away-ABSOLUTELY!!! More often than I would want to admit. I am SOOO blessed that God has given me the gift of motherhood with no problems, no doubts that I am capable. I sometimes want to pull my hair out and wonder what the hell I was thinking but it was never up to me..............................so thank you God for believing in me when I didn't.

Sweet Boy

These are the pretty flowers that my sweet boy picked and gave me while
he was playing at the park. Colton & I sat in the car, Colton was sleeping & it was
beginning to get a little cool outside. So Cayden would pick a flower, bring it to
me and head out for another one.

This is my self portrait.
Aren't my flowers pretty in my hair!?!

Friends Rock!

Lynn & I were supposed to have a yard sale this weekend but due to the wet weather we had to cancel. So instead, Lynn came over Friday night, we had Taste of Asia take out, organized my stamps and I am soooo excited! It looks great. Then we watched Twilight & shared popcorn. Lynn let and I started working on my stamp catalog.
Saturday Lynn was supposed to call in the am to start work on her scrapbook room so when she called at 1PM, Cayden was of course napping so we didn't arrive till after 3PM. She didn't sound like she really wanted to do anything but lay in bed so I didn't bother calling to let her know that the boys and I were on our way. I am sooo glad that she didn't kill me and we got to work on the kitchen. We took a break around 730PM for dinner at Tres Casa, her treat-THX!! We sat outside under the awning until it started to rain and Cayden about jumped out of his skin in fear-poor guy. So the ladies helped us transfer everything inside, they were sooo nice & great with Cayden. Then it was back to work until about 10PM or so.
Sunday the boys & I went back over to finish what we started. I am proud to say that The Demma's are now able to sit at the table together as a family and enjoy dinner together.
I am a weird kinda person because I had sooo much fun. This is what I like to do, clean & organize-other peoples stuff, not my own of course. Just ask Lynn-she'll tell ya. OR ask my parents, I worked on my house non-stop for a week last time I visited and they are already asking me to come to do more-HA!
So thanks Lynn for helping me with my stamps and hanging out on Friday and allowing me to invade your space and boss you around-HA! Love ya babe!

Hoppy Easter!

I hope that everyone had a WONDERFUL Easter!
We were able to spend Easter together and with Cody's sister, LaDessa. Although I didn't feel very good for most of the day I made it through.
I woke up & started working on the meal. We went NON-traditional; hamburgers, potato salad & deviled eggs. Then we hide a few Easter eggs for Cayden to find while I brought the baskets up. Cayden is sooo funny! I had to put only 1 piece of candy in the egg cuz he wouldn't try to find another one until he had eaten the candy first. HA! I am sure that he had enough sugar today to last him the rest of the year-hehe!
He was such a sweet boy, he gave Bubba his Easter bunny to cuddle & shared his other soft treats with him. He tried to give him an egg. What a sweet brother!!
Then our company had to leave and all of us went to bed for a nap. The boys were worn out & so was I.

SOOO Mad!!

I haven't been able to start New Moon......I finally got it from Lynn, which seemed like forever and then I got busy. We had company in town for the Easter weekend & I have been suffering from Migraines for the last few days. I also know that when I start I probably won't want to stop reading. I am hoping to start sometimes next week. Keep your fingers crossed.

CONFESSION!!!

I was at the store today and it took all that I had in me to NOT buy the next book....LYNN U BETTER HAVE IT IN THE AM-(L)ya! But I DID buy the movie. I have seen it once before but the movie has nothing on the book. I wasn't sure after I watched the movie, granted I LOVED the movie, but the book is a MILLION times better than the movie EVER thought of being. PLZ anyone who is reading, PLZ read the book. Edward is sooo much hotter in the book than the movie EVER portrays. If you like or love the movie then just imagine how much more you would love the book. I am STILL amazed that I read over 500 pages in such little time. The sick part is that I am ALREADY considering reading it again, to compare to the movie.
Gotta go, gotta get back to the movie!!!!

I WANT TO SUCK UR BLOOD!!!

I know that I am a little behind, a little slow at catching on. I have heard all the girls talking about how GREAT this book/series is. I became envious of all the hype wishing that I was a 'reader' or even had time to read. I was at the store the other day and it was less than $5. What's the harm I thought, I would either be like the rest and unable to put it down or I would pass it on. Needless to say I finished it in LESS THAN A WEEK!!! I am SOOO proud of myself. I have never read anything that quickly. I am a VERY slow reader and have to re-read A LOT, that is why I do not typically read. I suggest this book to anyone!! I don't care who you are! It is a love story that sucks you in. It has twist and turns that keeps you wanting more. Lynn has the 2nd book, I am trying to be patient so that I don't have to buy it but if she forgets it in the morning I don't know that I will be able to survive, I will HAVE to go buy it! I laughed out loud & set on the edge of my chair while I was reading, always cheering for Edward & Bella.
I have to admit.....I watched the movie BEFORE I read the book. But after seeing the movie I was a little confused, I am sure from the crying, talking, & playing that the 2 boys were doing and the stopping & pausing & so on. I have MUCH more appreciation for the love, the way that Edward & Bella are drawn to one another. Heck, I WANT Edward to come and run his cold hand across my jaw line. The fear, the excitement, the wonder, the romance....
I could go on but I won't...just read this book. I only hope that the next one keeps me as interested and drawn in.

SAND-Oh my!!!!

We just wanted to Thank Nana & Papa for our new sandbox/picnic table w/an umbrella. Cody put it together when I put Cayden down for his nap Friday, put 7 bags of sand in. When Cayden woke I didn't point it out, I wanted to see how long it would take him to notice it & I was trying to get ready for my DATE!!!
He had a fall and busted his mouth on his toy box and while I was comforting him and realizing that there was blood he suddenly sat up, hushed, and said "WOW" and pointed. He thought that he was all better and MUST go outside to see what it was. He played for 30 minutes non-stop if not longer. He sure is gonna have fun. And I thought that my floors were dirty before-HA! And now bath time is at night to remove all traces of sand before we crawl into bed.

Hoppy Easter!

This is a very clear picture...sorry!
Today we took the boys to the BNSF Easter Egg Hunt.
We weren't sure where to start so we headed inside for the line, there had to be a reason for a line we thought. And we were right, it was for pictures. Cayden was VERY excited when he saw them and promised to have his picture taken with them but when it was our turn he wanted nothing to do with either one of the Easter Bunnies. U can't tell since the picture will not download clearly, but he does not look the least bit interested, or happy. And Colton never once stopped looking at them. The guy was so kind and took 4 pictures but none of them are really great.
They had a petting 'farm' and of course Cayden went nuts for that. I bet he spent at least 30 minutes chasing the bunnies & roosters and playing with the goats. I finally convinced him to leave so that he could hunt Easter eggs. They threw candy in the air all around, counted down, and the kids went running. We missed his age group, we were taking pictures. So I grabbed a handful of candy and put it in front of him & let him pick it up 1 at a time. The problem-he wants to eat each piece as he picks it up-ha!
He was not happy that we were leaving, he wanted to pet the animals again! So I reminded him of his new sandbox in HIS back yard and off we went.

Custom Cross

This is the beautiful cross that I made in class last night. I want to make more. It is made of 3 different wood crosses, each one painted. The bottom & top one is covered with paper and the middle cross has embossed metal that has been sanded. The brad in the middle is made with the new chatterbox brad maker. I still have to sand around the edges of the largest cross to distress it. but I think that it turned out ok. Everyone's crosses turned out gorgeous! Thanks to Creat8Joy for such wonderful classes.

MOM, Do these boots fit?

This kid cracks me up! He is soooo funny and I think he knows it. When I returned to the room he was cloppin around in daddys boots, atleast he was trying to walk. He was laughing at himself and I couldn't help but crack up. What a cutie!

Brotherly Love

What cute boys I have! Love my chunky monkey & 'uh,uh' boy!!!

I don't wanna grow up!!!!

When I returned from putting away some laundry this morning this is what I found. Cayden must miss his swing, it's not fair that Bubba gets to swing all the time and he never gets too anymore! He had the cheesiest smile on his face. I couldn't get onto him, but instead I RAN to get the camera and of course he was willing to CHEEZ for the camera! He didn't want to get out but I explained that he was a big boy now and the swing was for Bubba to use now. Colton was on the floor on tummy time and after I explained that the swing was for brother, Cayden motioned (as he does) that he wanted me to put Bubba in his swing. Cayden may not be talking but he sure is good at Charades-HA!

Pet Peeves

Not even sure if that is a word or even how to spell it. BUT.....One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when people don't do what they say they are going to do. What ever it maybe, a phone call, a visit, a whatever!!! If u don't plan on it for sure then make that known or just don't say it at all! I just don't get it! Why do people do that? I am sooo tired of feeling hurt or forgotten about. I don't know why I let it get to me either so that is also one of my pet peeves about myself. Not saying that I am anywhere close to perfect but....
OK, I think I am done. I just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for letting me vent.

I feel the need.......

.....the need to decorate!!

While our company was in town, we made a stop at Hobby Lobby. I bought the 3 hooks and then returned today by the metal Laundry hook/sign. I just couldn't stop thinking about it so I HAD to go get it! I hate it when that happens-ha!

Can I just say that Hobby Lobby is the best place on earth, not only can u find scrappin' supplies but they have the coolest decor! If anyone ever has trouble thinking of what to get me, GC from HL would ROCK!!! Just a thought.

LOVE HOBBY LOBBY!!!
