Cereal

This weekend Colton had his first taste of cereal. As you can see he wasn't much of a
fan. He enjoyed it much more the next day.
Not only is he rolling over both ways now but he is also rolling ALL around the lr floor. Now I can barely leave the room without him rolling into the tables or chairs and getting
terribly pissed off about it and making sure that everyone around knows it.
It won't be long before I will be chasing him & Cayden around.
I should probably start working out now....training now.....so that I can
be in shape to keep up-HA!

I am proud to hear that Lynn has kept the kitchen clean & up to par. I just hope that her and the rest of the family are able to keep it up on a regular basis.
I hate the reality that I have to unload the dishwasher EVERY morning while Cayden is eating his breakfast and the fact that there is never ending laundry but that is life, the life that I have chosen. I LOVE spending the day with my boys and knowing that they are NOT spending 8-12 hours a day in day care with someone else other than me. Are there times that I want to run away-ABSOLUTELY!!! More often than I would want to admit. I am SOOO blessed that God has given me the gift of motherhood with no problems, no doubts that I am capable. I sometimes want to pull my hair out and wonder what the hell I was thinking but it was never up to me..............................so thank you God for believing in me when I didn't.

Sweet Boy

These are the pretty flowers that my sweet boy picked and gave me while
he was playing at the park. Colton & I sat in the car, Colton was sleeping & it was
beginning to get a little cool outside. So Cayden would pick a flower, bring it to
me and head out for another one.

This is my self portrait.
Aren't my flowers pretty in my hair!?!

Friends Rock!

Lynn & I were supposed to have a yard sale this weekend but due to the wet weather we had to cancel. So instead, Lynn came over Friday night, we had Taste of Asia take out, organized my stamps and I am soooo excited! It looks great. Then we watched Twilight & shared popcorn. Lynn let and I started working on my stamp catalog.
Saturday Lynn was supposed to call in the am to start work on her scrapbook room so when she called at 1PM, Cayden was of course napping so we didn't arrive till after 3PM. She didn't sound like she really wanted to do anything but lay in bed so I didn't bother calling to let her know that the boys and I were on our way. I am sooo glad that she didn't kill me and we got to work on the kitchen. We took a break around 730PM for dinner at Tres Casa, her treat-THX!! We sat outside under the awning until it started to rain and Cayden about jumped out of his skin in fear-poor guy. So the ladies helped us transfer everything inside, they were sooo nice & great with Cayden. Then it was back to work until about 10PM or so.
Sunday the boys & I went back over to finish what we started. I am proud to say that The Demma's are now able to sit at the table together as a family and enjoy dinner together.
I am a weird kinda person because I had sooo much fun. This is what I like to do, clean & organize-other peoples stuff, not my own of course. Just ask Lynn-she'll tell ya. OR ask my parents, I worked on my house non-stop for a week last time I visited and they are already asking me to come to do more-HA!
So thanks Lynn for helping me with my stamps and hanging out on Friday and allowing me to invade your space and boss you around-HA! Love ya babe!

Hoppy Easter!

I hope that everyone had a WONDERFUL Easter!
We were able to spend Easter together and with Cody's sister, LaDessa. Although I didn't feel very good for most of the day I made it through.
I woke up & started working on the meal. We went NON-traditional; hamburgers, potato salad & deviled eggs. Then we hide a few Easter eggs for Cayden to find while I brought the baskets up. Cayden is sooo funny! I had to put only 1 piece of candy in the egg cuz he wouldn't try to find another one until he had eaten the candy first. HA! I am sure that he had enough sugar today to last him the rest of the year-hehe!
He was such a sweet boy, he gave Bubba his Easter bunny to cuddle & shared his other soft treats with him. He tried to give him an egg. What a sweet brother!!
Then our company had to leave and all of us went to bed for a nap. The boys were worn out & so was I.

SOOO Mad!!

I haven't been able to start New Moon......I finally got it from Lynn, which seemed like forever and then I got busy. We had company in town for the Easter weekend & I have been suffering from Migraines for the last few days. I also know that when I start I probably won't want to stop reading. I am hoping to start sometimes next week. Keep your fingers crossed.

CONFESSION!!!

I was at the store today and it took all that I had in me to NOT buy the next book....LYNN U BETTER HAVE IT IN THE AM-(L)ya! But I DID buy the movie. I have seen it once before but the movie has nothing on the book. I wasn't sure after I watched the movie, granted I LOVED the movie, but the book is a MILLION times better than the movie EVER thought of being. PLZ anyone who is reading, PLZ read the book. Edward is sooo much hotter in the book than the movie EVER portrays. If you like or love the movie then just imagine how much more you would love the book. I am STILL amazed that I read over 500 pages in such little time. The sick part is that I am ALREADY considering reading it again, to compare to the movie.
Gotta go, gotta get back to the movie!!!!

I WANT TO SUCK UR BLOOD!!!

I know that I am a little behind, a little slow at catching on. I have heard all the girls talking about how GREAT this book/series is. I became envious of all the hype wishing that I was a 'reader' or even had time to read. I was at the store the other day and it was less than $5. What's the harm I thought, I would either be like the rest and unable to put it down or I would pass it on. Needless to say I finished it in LESS THAN A WEEK!!! I am SOOO proud of myself. I have never read anything that quickly. I am a VERY slow reader and have to re-read A LOT, that is why I do not typically read. I suggest this book to anyone!! I don't care who you are! It is a love story that sucks you in. It has twist and turns that keeps you wanting more. Lynn has the 2nd book, I am trying to be patient so that I don't have to buy it but if she forgets it in the morning I don't know that I will be able to survive, I will HAVE to go buy it! I laughed out loud & set on the edge of my chair while I was reading, always cheering for Edward & Bella.
I have to admit.....I watched the movie BEFORE I read the book. But after seeing the movie I was a little confused, I am sure from the crying, talking, & playing that the 2 boys were doing and the stopping & pausing & so on. I have MUCH more appreciation for the love, the way that Edward & Bella are drawn to one another. Heck, I WANT Edward to come and run his cold hand across my jaw line. The fear, the excitement, the wonder, the romance....
I could go on but I won't...just read this book. I only hope that the next one keeps me as interested and drawn in.

SAND-Oh my!!!!

We just wanted to Thank Nana & Papa for our new sandbox/picnic table w/an umbrella. Cody put it together when I put Cayden down for his nap Friday, put 7 bags of sand in. When Cayden woke I didn't point it out, I wanted to see how long it would take him to notice it & I was trying to get ready for my DATE!!!
He had a fall and busted his mouth on his toy box and while I was comforting him and realizing that there was blood he suddenly sat up, hushed, and said "WOW" and pointed. He thought that he was all better and MUST go outside to see what it was. He played for 30 minutes non-stop if not longer. He sure is gonna have fun. And I thought that my floors were dirty before-HA! And now bath time is at night to remove all traces of sand before we crawl into bed.

Hoppy Easter!

This is a very clear picture...sorry!
Today we took the boys to the BNSF Easter Egg Hunt.
We weren't sure where to start so we headed inside for the line, there had to be a reason for a line we thought. And we were right, it was for pictures. Cayden was VERY excited when he saw them and promised to have his picture taken with them but when it was our turn he wanted nothing to do with either one of the Easter Bunnies. U can't tell since the picture will not download clearly, but he does not look the least bit interested, or happy. And Colton never once stopped looking at them. The guy was so kind and took 4 pictures but none of them are really great.
They had a petting 'farm' and of course Cayden went nuts for that. I bet he spent at least 30 minutes chasing the bunnies & roosters and playing with the goats. I finally convinced him to leave so that he could hunt Easter eggs. They threw candy in the air all around, counted down, and the kids went running. We missed his age group, we were taking pictures. So I grabbed a handful of candy and put it in front of him & let him pick it up 1 at a time. The problem-he wants to eat each piece as he picks it up-ha!
He was not happy that we were leaving, he wanted to pet the animals again! So I reminded him of his new sandbox in HIS back yard and off we went.

Custom Cross

This is the beautiful cross that I made in class last night. I want to make more. It is made of 3 different wood crosses, each one painted. The bottom & top one is covered with paper and the middle cross has embossed metal that has been sanded. The brad in the middle is made with the new chatterbox brad maker. I still have to sand around the edges of the largest cross to distress it. but I think that it turned out ok. Everyone's crosses turned out gorgeous! Thanks to Creat8Joy for such wonderful classes.

MOM, Do these boots fit?

This kid cracks me up! He is soooo funny and I think he knows it. When I returned to the room he was cloppin around in daddys boots, atleast he was trying to walk. He was laughing at himself and I couldn't help but crack up. What a cutie!
