I PASSED!

HIP-HIP-HOORAY!!
I passed my 3 hour glucose test! I am sooooo excited that I don't have to stop eating my 'Coffee Lovers Only' from Cold Stone Creamery. I say that as if I have had one recently-NOT! It has been weeks. I am not sure where one is around here....I am going to have to do some online searching and hopefully Cayden & I can go get some ice cream tomorrow while daddy is sleeping.
On a creative note; I attended the NRHBC Crop last night, thanks to my husband joyfully watching Cayden so that I could attend and have some girl X. I think that he could tell that I was starting to stress out.....I have completely emptied out the pantry and reorganized it and then the next day I did the same thing to the laundry room. I guess that I am nesting already. Back to scrapbooking, I didn't really have anything together so I decided to take some mini-books that were already complete and just add pictures to them so I put Caydens Texas B-Day party in a mini-book and then the 2nd book I put pictures of the Pine Cove Retreat...I have to say that I LOVE it. I ended up changing several things in the album and added LOTS of owls so now it ROCKS!!! I just have to use the cricut for some titles and that will be 2 mini-books completed. I was hoping to scrapbook tonight after I put Cayden to bed but I think that I my self am ready for bed. I think my organizational overload has caught up with me, I am alittle soar & uncomfortable.

Glucose Hopeful

Tomorrow is the big day! I find out whether or not I have GD or not. I flunked the 1st 1 hour glucose test at the beginning of the month so I have to be at the Dr @ 830AM to do the 3 hour glucose test. As if drinking that orange sugar drink the 1st x wasn't bad enough-YUCK! It could be worse I guess. I am sure this will be the longest 3 hours. On a more exciting note.....I think that we are going to 'discuss' the delivery date-YEAH! I am going to ask for the 17th...keep your fingers crossed. It has been really hard for me to not eat something sweet today....I want my coffee ice cream SOOOO bad! Hopefully things will turn out alright tomorrow. I will try to post the results within a few days.

88 days to go....

My ticker says that I have 88 days left till my due date. It seems like I have much longer than that but at the same time it feels like I am ready to explode. My tummy is sooo tight and feels so big. I don't remember feeling this way with Cayden until the last month but they do say that the 2nd time around everything happens soooner than the 1st. I am proof of that!
Friday is my last day at work-Yippee! I am both excited and saddened to be going home. I am ready to get back to my OWN place, stuff and routine but I am going to miss being around my parents, sis, and nephew all the time. It won't take long for me to get lonely. I am sure that "NESTING" will kick in soon and that will keep me busy-HA!

I had this wonderful plan to take a picture of us together every birthday to mark the occasion and to notice how much our little boy has grown. Needless to say, this is the best picture we got that day. I guess that one of the things that I have had to learn as a mother is that things are not going to be perfect and that is part of the beauty of it. So this picture is the one that is going to mark the 1st year. And what a wonderful year it has been. Being a mother is definitely a gift from GOD!

A Nana & her boy!

Cayden is Nana's biggest fan! It is great to see how much he has grown to love her in these few months. Who wouldn't love her though. And he can get her to do anything for him and give him anything he wants. He sure is gonna miss her when we go home next weekend. Mom won't know what to do with the house being so quiet, not having to step over the toys ALL over the living room floor or change a million dirty diapers. I am sure that work will keep her busy but I believe that it is going to be hard on both of them for the first few days. Not to worry though, we will be back in the graces of Nana in just a short 2 weeks so that she can start the spoiling all over again!! Thanks Nana for all of your love and support and Popsicles, fruit, snacks, toys, hugs & kisses. We luv u!

Sisters!!!!

This is a pic of my lil' sis' & I. She is my BEST friend and I love her!!!! As we get older the closer we become. I have enjoyed being in KS and getting to see her all the time. I am going to miss her when I go home. But only 2 short weeks and I will be back and we will be stuck in the car together for at least 13 hours on our way to Tenn and I am sure that we will get on each others nerves at some point during that time but that is what makes us sisters. LOVE YA SIS!!!!

Birthday Boy

This picture is late but what can I say. Cayden had so much fun at his First Birthday party. his first party in TX he was sick and didn't have any fun at all. He cried when we gave him his cake but this time he loved it. He would only stick one finger in the cake at a time but atleast he was lovin' it. He got lots of new toys & was full of joy and laughter. His laugh is sooo contagious! He does this thing where he crinkles up his nose and smiles....it is sooo cute!!!
