Soldering

I am SOOOO excited! Saturday I will be attending Trisha's

soldering class at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxachie. I can't wait to learn

something new and to learn it from such an overly talented friend is even

more exciting. I am already thinking of all the things that I can make, the

gifts that I can create. My sis has already requested several things-HA!

I am also excited that my BFF Lynn is going to come hang out with us

when she gets off work at noon. Even though she can't take the

class because she had to work that morning-dang it!

It seems like it has been sooo long since I have seen her. I miss her!!

I have already sent a message to find a babysitter for April 3 to take the advanced

soldering class-can you tell I think I'm gonna like it!

Snow Day

It is unreal to say this but we have 7 inches of snow-SO FAR! It is still falling.

This is sooo unusual for TX, makes me feel like I am in KS-haha!

I made the boys and I some SnowCream this afternoon. It

was sooo good! Brings back childhood memories.

I wish that the boys felt better so we could go outside and

play in the snow. But Colton is sneezing and has a

VERY runny nose-yuck! And Cayden is also sneezing with

a runny nose. They are both grumpy and moody.

I am soooo ready for an early bedtime tonight.

The snow is beautiful!!!!

Colton and I just keep standing at the back door watching

it fall. looks so magical.

The Sequeal!

Sunday we took Cayden to Southlake Towne Center and took him to the BIG bookstore and he LUVED going up stairs. We walked all around looking at book after book and even finding

a few that he already had.

Then over to the theatre for his first time to a BIG SCREEN movie theatre experience.

His first word after sitting down was, "WoW Big!!!" He was even gracious enough to

point out that it was BIGGER than daddys TV.
He was such a good boy. Sat there quitely and watched intently. Although

he did cry out ALVIN every once in a while.

Of course we got a HUGE popcorn and large drink so that he could enjoy the

TRUE experience. But next time we will only get a small popcorn-there

was SOOO much left!!

When we left he whined saying "Again! Again! Peassse!"

So sweet and cute and cant wait to take him again!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN.......

......we leave tomorrow around noon to go back to KS. The boys and I will be at my parents house for most of the month of December.

The first weekend that we are there we are all going to go to Greensburg and visit some friends and Cody has talked me into going hunting with him while we are there. Please pray for my toes and fingers;that they dont freeze and fall off while I am there-haha!!!

Although we had SNOW here this morning for a short period of time I am sure that

it is nothing compared to what we are going to see while

we are there. Maybe the boys will be able to make

Snow Angels.

Black Friday

Most people were out shopping while I was still asleep. That is until my sister called me wanting to know if the boys had this movie or that movie at 7AM! Of course I couldn't sleep after that. Colton and I got up and had breakfast and played then I was off to get ready for my day.

I spent the day at Anthologies at the 12 hour Black Friday Crop from

noon to midnight. I sat next to Marylee and had great fun. I started my Christmas cards, have

them designed and the cuts made, then I moved onto finishing one of

Sonya's Christmas gifts and finally got that completed-She BETTER like

it!! Then the rest of the evening was spent making Thank YOu cards and

filling those out to send out. I really should have gotten more done but it was

just GREAT fun to spend time with the girls and to be around

such creative girls.

Thanks to Nita & Tom and the rest of the gang for a WOnderful evening!

Wish I was there for the 12 hours of fun-filled time tonight too!!

It was GREAT to see one of my Best Friends. It has been forever since we

have seen each other, life always gets in the way.

We are going to try to get together for dinner tonight and hang out. I hope

it works out so that we can get together, I sure do miss this girl.

ONEderfulL!!!!!

My baby is already turning ONE!! It doesn't seem possible. It makes me sad yet proud to know that we have made it this far.

We had a small celebration at the house this past Sunday and let me

tell you-THAT BOY LUVS HIM SOME CAKE!! He ate more

than half of his smash cake before I noticed and had

to take it away from him-haha!
