Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to a HUGE pumpkin patch. It was slightly on the warm side but Cayden loved walking around all the pumpkins. He is my 'lil' pumpkin!' We had so much fun but being just 3 weeks from having baby brother I wasn't able to stay for very long. Cayden had so much fun that I think we are going to go back later this week with Daddy.
Pumpkins everywhere!!!!
So many to choose from how will we
choose just one?!?!

Cowboy Tough

1 down....only 2 to go! This is one of the small, 8X10, canvas' that I made for the nursery. I am happy with it. I am about 1/2 way done with the other 2 canvas' if only I could make a final decision and stick it all down. When I get the other 2 completed I will post them also.
Hope you like it!

Frankie

Meet Frankie...Isn't he cute!!! This is one of the things that we made at my Stampin' Up stamp club Wednesday night. I just love looking at him, he is sitting on my mantel so that I can see him everyday. I only wish that I had the energy to make more so that I could share his cuteness with others! She used the Sizziz Big Shot that they are now selling and the Big Note Die. Makes me wonder if Cuttlebug sells a similar die so that I could make them next year?!?!?!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Fall Fun!!!

Saturday our HOA hosted a fall festival at our park. They had a petting zoo, bounce house, face painting, games, food & drinks. It was a beautiful day to spend time outside with my boys. The sun was shining with only a slight breeze to help keep you cool. Of course Cayden was only interested in the petting zoo. I was able to get him to drink some but then it was straight back to the goats & chickens. That boy isn't afraid of anything! He was amazing all of the other parents at how affectionate he was without any hesitation. I'm not so sure that that is a good thing.......

Circus Fun!!!

Thursday night we took Cayden to the Shrine Circus. He LOVED the animals! I think that he did such a good job, he sat still for the 1st 40 minutes, after that he was only interested when the animals were performing. He had absolutely no interest in the gymnast what so ever! Then it was intermission so we got to take a break and go for a walk. When Cayden & I returned for the RR, his Daddy surprised us with a light saber-OH BOY!!! (And thank goodness for Tylenol cause that thing is LOUD but he sure does love it!) So the 2nd half of the show, when he got bored, light saber to the rescue! Sure glad that the couple in front of us didn't mind getting poked more than once.

ENORMOUS cabinet!!!!

Well here it is.....the GREAT BIG cabinet!!! It really isn't that bad. It looks like it has always been there. I am just glad that we didn't have to pay for the damn thing-Thanks to Jaime for making it!!! I am also glad that there isn't some ugly ass green metal safe sitting in the middle of my hallway.
Now if only I could keep the dead animals from appearing on my walls-HA! Not going to happen but it was a nice thought.
Things that I have, or at least have to, learn to live with. My life will always be surrounded by Bob (the deer in the entry way) and the bird coffin, I mean coffee table, in the entry way....and I realize that those are only the beginning of my personal little bass pro shop. Golf clubs, bows, guns and all that man-ly shit will always be the decor of my home. Because of this I believe that in the next house I deserve a pink scrapbook room to escape to! I love my boys but why couldn't they just scrapbook along side me-hehehehe!!!!

I survived!!!!

Well friends.....I made it through the weekend un-harmed! I missed my little guy but it was nice to be able to hang out with the girls on Saturday and do things that I love.

Saturday I was at Michaels by 9AM, Tim Holtz was there doing demos all day. Did a really cool make-n-take.....made butterfly pins using his grunge board that they die-cut, then ran through the cuttlebug to emboss. Used dabbers to paint, then sanded, and sprayed with a glimmer mist, added the metal stuff and poof....a beautiful butterfly. That GRUNGE BOARD is some really cool stuff. It is better than chipboard. You can get it wet and it won't tear up, you can even wash & dry it without messin' it up! A little freaky!

I also did a make-n-take in the new & fabulous beading section of the store. It looks like a candy store with all the different colors & beads. I enjoyed it so much that I came home and made another bracelet with the left over beading stuff that they sent home with us.
Makes me want to pick up a new hobby!!!! As if I need something else to add to my "TO DO LIST"
So as you can tell, I really enjoyed myself on Saturday and if Cayden had been here, I wouldn't have been able to do attend the Michael's Re-Grand Opening & the other creative things.
Some of us girls went across the parking lot for lunch at Red Robin, that place is sooooo good!!
I made a stop at the house to check on the dogs & pick up some scrapbooking stuff and off to the NFWBC to crop with Marylee & some new ladies. They were ALL sooo nice!! I was great to hang out with such a nice group of ladies. I think that I am going to try to join that group more often.
Here's to creating and giving Mommies a well deserved break!!!!!!!
